January 4, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Contact: Paul Gordon, Bucks County Planning Commission, 215-345-3884

The proposed alignment of the Middle Neshaminy Greenway Trail, extending from Rushland Village in Wrightstown Township through Newtown Township to Core Creek Park in Middletown Township – including connections into Newtown Borough – is underway, and the Bucks County Planning Commission wants the public’s input.

An open house on the greenway trail will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 10, at the Newtown Township Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Drive in Newtown.

Those who attend this open house will be able to learn more about the project, review the proposed alignment and have an opportunity to provide public comment. This will be an informational open house with maps available showing the various trails and other facilities identified to date. No formal presentation is planned, so members of the public can arrive when they are able.

Staff members of the Bucks County Planning Commission will be available to discuss and answer questions, take public input, and share information about the project.

This project is financed in part by a grant from the Community Conservation partnership Program under the administration of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation.
